Backstabbing

The first person to backstab you will always be yourself. As modern humans, we instinctively blame the outside world for our misfortunes and reject those who betray us. Yet we often fail to recognize our own energy and vibration as a match for such behaviour. The societies and environments in which we grow up force us to adapt by disowning aspects of ourselves. What we shed to conform still lives within us like a shadow. Unforgiving, it demands to be acknowledged, influencing us towards actions that resemble self-sabotage. Perhaps we were never meant to inhabit those environments without first integrating all that we are.
